Job Description

 

Regional Sales Manager Job Description:

 

  1. Establish distribution channels in the region.

 

  1. Identify and approach strategic partners / distributors or dealers and set short term and long term distribution channel strategies.

 

  1. Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.

 

  1. Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.

 

  1. Resolving problems, identifying trends, determining regional sales system improvements and implementing change

 

  1. Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.

 

  1. Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives/ distributors or dealers.

 

  1. Building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new distributors or dealers opportunities.

 

  1. Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes, surveying consumer needs and trends and tracking competitors.

 

 

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced Degree Preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience within the healthcare or wellness industry

 

Candidate Requirements:

 

  • Convincing and Positive attitude and approach towards client
  • Target Oriented
  • Proven track record of success in all respects of selling and leadership – technical knowledge, selling techniques, interpreting/analyzing data, in-depth understanding of wellness field and healthcare industry.
