1. Start with Confident Greeting

The first time you are in contact with your interviewer, ensure to greet with a firm handshake (if it is face-to-face) and smile. Use a pleasant tone and start like, “Hello I am glad to be here” or “Good morning/afternoon, thank you for having me. ”

2. Enter Your Name and Basic Information

As soon as after the greeting properly, tell the person your name. After this, it is recommended to describe briefly the basic information about yourself, job experience, and education. For instance, “I am [Your name] and I have five years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on Social media and content creation”.

3. Highlight Your Key Strengths

The next item on your list of attributes to highlight on your resume is the strengths that apply to the job you are seeking. Select characteristics that can be matched with the job position and where you prove that you are suitable for it. For example, “I have been recognised for being a good analytic thinker with proficiency in formulating marketing strategies that would enhance interaction and profitability.”
